🏔️ Wisconsin Ski Trip – February 13–15, 2026 Hosted by the Community Education Department We are excited to announce our 3rd annual out-of-town Ski Trip to Devil’s Head Resort in Baraboo, Wisconsin! This trip is open to all families within the district and offers a wonderful opportunity for a fun winter getaway. 🚌 Registration & Participation Transportation: Families may ride the bus or drive themselves Parent Requirement: Parents must accompany their children on the bus if riding the bus Limited Space: Please register early—spots fill quickly! 💳 Payment Information Full payment at the time of registration to reserve your spot. Payment plans are available upon checkout. Please add more passes for any additional adults. Each Child Package already includes their waterpark pass. 🏠 Example Registrations Example 1: Family of Four If registering a family of four (2 adults and 2 children) sharing one hotel room, riding the bus, with one adult skiing, and no ski rentals needed, please register as follows: 1 Hotel Room 2 Child Packages 1 Waterpark Pass (1 comes with the hotel) 4 Bus Tickets 1 lift ticket Example 2: Family of Six If registering a family of six (2 adults and 4 children) driving, with all needing ski equipment, and both adults skiing, please register as follows: 2 Hotel Rooms (one registered under each adult — please email aleshanelson@ladueschools.net if you need adjoining rooms) 4 Child Packages 2 Adult Lift Tickets 6 Equipment Rentals Example 3: Family of Three If registering a family of three (1 adult and 2 children) driving, sharing one room, and ski equipment is needed for the children. Participants will explore different methods of building, types of engineering, develop problem solving skills, and work as a team.

Feel the force of energy and the might of motion in exciting physics explorations. Shake up a mixture, and experiment with telecommunication! The amazing take home projects in every class will have you exploring more at home! Individual class topics: All About Animals - Children go beyond feathers, fins, and fur to find out more about the habitats, anatomy, and life cycles of amazing creatures. They experiment with camouflage an learn to identify and imitate sounds that animals make. Energy Burst - Children experiment with potential and kinetic energy as they pop, jump, and flip with hopping and spinning toys. Children learn about the potential of stored energy in wind-up gadgets. Get Connected - Children take on telecommunications! Children chat over cables, link to a network and work with radio signals. They learn about the technology developed to allow for long-distanced communication and investigate the electromagnetic spectrum. Life in the Sea- Children learn about the vast range of life found in the sea--from plankton to sponges to whales! They learn how living things are adapted to their ocean habitats, and find out what humans can do to protect ocean life. Mix It Up - It's time to shake up solutions and explore mixture chemistry. Children sort out mixtures, clear color from a watery solution and see how useful a suspension can be. The Super Sorter gives children the tools to sort mixtures at home. Moving Motion - Children catapult into Newton's three laws of motion! Learn all about the forces behind the movement of planes, trains, and automobiles. They yank a cloth from under dishes, send cars racing, and drop some (plastic) eggs!
